1. Introduction

High Surface Area to Volume Ratio

Low Thermal Mass
The thin walls of the honeycomb structure minimize thermal mass. This reduces thermal lag and allows for rapid heating up and cooling down of the material. Fast thermal response times improve process efficiency.
Temperature Uniformity
