2. 1. Product use
This product is a kind of special structure and special material of wall flow ceramic honeycomb ceramic filter element, used in the diesel engine exhaust gas purification device, using the hole wall of the pore wall flow filter body, intercept, capture the carbon in the diesel exhaust smoke particles, diesel exhaust gas purification. There are cordierite and silicon carbide material.
- Catalytic converters: Cordierite ceramic substrate is the most common material used for the substrate in catalytic converters. This is because it is able to withstand the high temperatures and thermal shock that occur in catalytic converters.
- Exhaust systems: Cordierite ceramic substrate is also used in exhaust systems. It is used to protect the exhaust system from the high temperatures and corrosive gases that are produced by the engine.
